Arizona 811 is a nonprofit communication center, which performs excavation notification services and stakeholder education that promote the safety and welfare of the community by protecting underground facilities from damage. After the dig site is white lined by the excavator, Arizona 811 takes pre-excavation utility marking requests in two ways: 1. By telephone: Callers within Arizona can reach them at 811. Callers digging in Arizona but calling from outside Arizona, can reach them at 1-800-STAKE-IT (782-5348). 2. On-line using Exactix: Excavators can create their own tickets at Arizona811.com. Arizona 811 does not mark any underground lines themselves. Instead, they identify which underground facilities operators are affected by the described dig site and how they will be notified. The notified underground facility operators will then send locators to mark the underground lines they own & maintain. Arizona 811 also offers free damage prevention and safety training in multiple formats, which can be requested by sending an email to education.awareness@arizona811.com.

Membership and directory listings are separate from Nulca training-program accreditation. Nulca accredits named training programs, not companies or individuals.
