Georgia 811 is a nonprofit 811 notification center that takes locate requests by phone and online and notifies member utility companies, whose locators mark public lines. Private lines are not marked through 811, and Georgia 811 offers online and in-person damage prevention training.

Membership and directory listings are separate from Nulca training-program accreditation. Nulca accredits named training programs, not companies or individuals.
